DELIVERY & RETURNS
DELIVERY
Free Delivery for UK orders applies to all orders to the value of £25 or more.
We do not accept returns for sale, discounted or 'outlet' items.
Squid Ink uses DPD and Royal Mail postal services. Delivery options can be selected at checkout. We will always use a tracked delivery method and you will be given a tracking code to locate your parcel.
For Standard Shipping, we will use either Royal Mail or DPD depending on the weight of the parcel.
For Next Day Delivery we use DPD Local - 'Next Day Delivery'.
Orders placed before 2PM from Monday - Friday will be shipped the same day. Orders placed after 2PM on Friday's, or at any time on Saturdays or Sundays will be shipped on the next working day.
For European and the rest of the world clients, we will deliver all orders using a tracked delivery method and customers will be given the details to track and locate their parcel. Please allow time for your order to arrive.
Orders placed to European destinations will incur a flat fee for shipping of £15. Please allow up to 7 working days for your order to arrive.
Orders placed to international destinations outside of Europe will incur a fee based on total weight of items ordered. Please allow up to 10 working days for your order to arrive.
Orders will not be shipped on bank holidays or public holidays (e.g. May Bank Holiday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day, etc.). If your order is placed on one of these days it will be shipped on the next working day and you will be notified by email.
From time to time we may use a different postal provider. Should we do so, you will be informed of the postal provider and given a tracking number when you receive your shipping confirmation email.
Squid Ink uses and pays for 'Next Day Delivery' services from DPD as our standard means of delivery. DPD guarantees Squid Ink that parcels will be delivered the next day but from time to time for DPD's reasons and circumstances, this is not possible. Squid Ink will not be held responsible if DPD are unable to deliver your parcel the next day.
For DPD Next Day Delivery, you will be sent tracking information so that you can:
- Follow your parcel's journey
- Be given a one-hour time delivery time-slot
- Be able to update your delivery preferences
- Reschedule a delivery
There may be occasions where orders cannot be fulfilled by Squid Ink within 24 hours. If there is a delay on how quickly we can process or ship your order, you will be notified as quickly as possible and given options.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
The cost of delivering your parcel to an international destination is calculated by the total weight of the items purchased and the destination country.
Final shipping costs are shown before you complete your purchase should you wish to check before completing your order.
Some destinations require import duties or taxes. Squid Ink will not be held responsible for any additional costs. These are to be paid solely and in full by the customer.
RETURNS POLICY (UK & EUROPEAN UNION CUSTOMERS)
If you are not satisfied with your purchase simply return the goods in an unused condition & in their original packaging within 14 days of purchase. Once we have received the return, we will then credit your account within 7 working days. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the safe return of the goods. We strongly advise sending returns via tracked or signed for delivery methods.
We will not accept returns for any earrings or body jewellery items that have been opened or worn. The customer's return shipping costs cannot be refunded. The above does not affect your statutory rights. Our Terms & Conditions are subject to English Law & Courts.
We will refuse to refund any items that have been worn, used, marked, damaged, or we deem unfit to resell. We will refuse to refund any item not returned in it's original box or packaging.
RETURNS POLICY (CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION)
If you are not satisfied with your purchase simply return the goods in an unused condition & in their original packaging within 28 days of receiving your purchase. The package must be clearly marked with the following statement “RETURNED GOODS RELIEF CLAIMED”. If the package does not clearly state the above, Squid Ink may not be able to accept delivery of the return package. Upon return of the goods, we will then credit your account to the value of the goods. The postage costs in getting the goods to you are however not refundable. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the safe return of the goods. The customer's return shipping costs cannot be refunded. The above does not affect your statutory rights. Our Terms & Conditions are subject to English Law & Courts.
